Villa Gokbel stands 8 km from the center of Dalyan, off the road that leads to the end of İztuzu beach. You can easily reach the quieter end of this magnificent sandy beach in no more than 2 km. Those not deterred by the steep climb back up can also take 10 minute walk down to a small beach on the lake a secluded and romantic spot that can only be reached on a foot. As you will expect in such a splendid natural setting, there are numerous other rewarding walks in the immediate surroundings and depending on the time of year you will be able to spot many different species of bird life.

With just eight rooms, converted from an original farmhouse and its outbuildings Vila Gokbel feels less like a hotel than a large private house, where nature-lovers and relaxation-seekers can pursue their interests in the company of like-minded travelers. The large lounge area with is huge fireplace and attractive beamed ceiling has a wonderfully homely informal feel and benefits from fabulous views of the delta through its wide panoramic windows. The most breathtaking views, however are those enjoyed from the pool terrace so it is here that breakfast served and a small bud varied selection of dishes are also available for diner in this most captivating of settings.

Whilst not blessed with the same stupendous wiev as the pool a the lounge, the guestrooms also enjoy tranquil countryside vistas. All are prettily furnished and benefit air-conditioning, satellite TV and a minibar. Naturally each room has an en suite shower room but as the hotel converted from an old building, the size and layout of each room varies as each have their own unique characteristics.
